Are you growing in your understanding of the Bible? If asked, would you be able to clearly explain the basis of your own salvation from the scriptures or lead others to a saving faith in Jesus Christ?
The truth of God’s Word contains the wisdom and the direction you need in your life, and also the words of encouragement that others need as well.
With each new week, the scriptures are taught in a simple and straight forward way. Come and allow the Word of God to stir a living faith in you and your family and equip you with the principles that you need to live godly in Christ Jesus. You will be warmly welcomed!
The Church at White Cloud is a Non-Denominational (1 Cor. 1:10-13) Christian Body of Believers that is actively responding to the commission given to the church by Jesus Christ to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, (Matt 28:19) proclaiming the things concerning the kingdom of God. ( 1 Cor. 4:20 – Acts 2:36-38 )
We worship and have faith in the One True and Living God (Duet.6:4), Creator of all and Lord over all (John 1:1-14), and in the deity of Jesus Christ (Col.1:15-19), His virgin birth (Matt. 1:23), His sinless life (Heb. 4:15), His miracles, His atoning death and resurrection that accomplished the complete victory over sin and death on behalf of all who will believe, (Col. 2:11-15) and in His imminent return. ( Matt. 24:29-31)
God’s Word teaches that regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5) is essential for salvation, that a lost and sinful man must repent of his sins and turn from them, (Acts 2:38 – Mark 6:12) and that salvation is wholly of grace through faith in the atoning death and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:4-10)
We rejoice in and are thankful for the present work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, by whose indwelling the Christian is changed (2 Cor. 3:18), directed, equipped, and empowered (Acts 1:8) to lead a Godly life and to be a living witness.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16), without error in the original languages, that it produces faith in those who would hear and obey it ( Rom. 10:17), and is our only rule for life and practice.
We believe that prayer is essential to our daily Christian life and relationship with God, (Phil 4:6) and that “we have not because we ask not.” (James 4:2)
